July ’10 I attended Va-Va Victory a WWII-era themed charity event to raise money for Adopt a Unit. (Think updated, USO variety show) It featured a silent auction, music, booze, and babes (burlesque babes at that)!
Using fast film and available lighting without flash I shot a number of photos. The high contrast photos seemed to capture a long ago night on the town in WWII New Orleans. I have coupled them with some excerpts from my book “Aphrodite” and the result is as you see.
